Carnosic acid, another powerful compound found in sage, can be used to treat UVA and UVB skin damage and protect it from the future sun damage. This acid also protects against free radicals, which can cause skin’s aging. Oil from the leaf can be added to face and body washes, deodorants and anti-fungal creams due to its astringent properties.
