The broadleaf plantain or greater plantain, is a member of the Plantaginaceae family, is native to Europe as well as parts of Asia. The broadleaf plantain is abundant with polysaccharides, lipids, caffeic acid derivatives, flavonoids, and alkaloids. It has anti-inflammatory properties which makes it ideal for use to treat inflammation.
