Moutan Bark Extract

Moutan Bark is taken from the root of the Peony tree.  It has been used in traditional Chinese medicines for its anti-inflammatory and anticoagulant properties.  It is rich in paeonol which has sedative, analgesic, anti convulsive, anti-inflammatory properties. It can strengthen the cardiovascular system and lower blood pressure. It can also inhibit the growth of bacteria due to its potent antimicrobial property.
