Botanical Name: Centella asiatica (L.) Syn. Hydrocotyle asiatica
Centella asiatica is also known as Gotu Kola. In clinical experiments, it has been shown that the plant can rejuvenate skin and tissue by stimulating the synthesis of collagen. Gotu kola has been shown to stimulate growth on connective tissues, which encourages the healing process of damaged cells. Gotu kola is a vasodilator and is shown to strengthen the blood vessels.
